If you want to apply for a DigiD you can use the DigiD app or the application form on this website.

Apply and activate
With your DigiD you identify yourself when you arrange matters online. Apply for your DigiD and activate your account. You can also give someone else permission to arrange matters for you by using DigiD Authorisation.

Activate your DigiD
Activate your DigiD with the activation code you received by letter. If you were unable to active DigiD you can also read how to solve it.
Code received
You receive codes from DigiD as an extra check. For example, a code to reset your password, to activate your DigiD, or to authorise someone else. .
Living abroad
If you live abroad you can still apply for a DigiD or activate your DigiD. However, it is easier to apply for a DigiD before you move abroad.
Authorisation
Do you need help or would you like to help someone? You can give someone else permission to do so, by means of DigiD Authorisation.
